Get a Fucking Life

! This post hasn't been updated in over a year. A lot can change in a year including my opinion and the amount of naughty words I use. There's a good chance that there's something in what's written below that someone will find objectionable. That's fine, if I tried to please everybody all of the time then I'd be a Lib Dem (remember them?) and I'm certainly not one of those. The point is, I'm not the kind of person to try and alter history in case I said something in the past that someone can use against me in the future but just remember that the person I was then isn't the person I am now nor the person I'll be in a year's time.

An English teacher sentenced to 15 days in prison in Sudan for allowing her pupils to name a teddy bear “Mohammed” is now facing calls for the death penalty from dress wearing jihadi’s.

Whilst it seems to be perfectly acceptable for the jihadi’s to call their sons Mohammed, a teacher who’s been in the country for a couple of months allowing children to call a teddy bear Mohammed should be punishable by death.

If ever there was justification needed for curtailing the rise of Islam in this country, this has got to be a fine example.

Come on wonko – curbing the rise of Islam? A few hundred loons waving machetes around isn’t exactly representative of global Muslim opinion, is it? Certainly, almost all Muslims here in England will be of the view that the whole affair is a ludicrous over-reaction…

‘They will be of the view…..’ then why are’nt they putting their heads above the parapet to say so?

    Oh, are they scared?

What does that tell us of Muslims as a whole, by the fact they are not so enthusiastic to denounce their own, in acts of primitavism.

Lets also not forget, 400,000 estimated dead in Darfur and a thriving slave trade.

What next? Christians expected to denounce actions of Bush and Blair? Jews expected to condemn the actions of the Israeli government’s actions against Palestinians at every turn?

We are responsible for our own actions. I’m not about to run around denouncing other atheists – and there are some right bastards who are atheists. I don’t expect other atheists to do it either.

“Rise” was probably the wrong word to use. “Influence” would be a better word.

Muslims are showing concern but IMO they are only anxious because Islam is being shown in a bad light. If they are so concerned where are the protests and flag burning outside the Sudanese embassy? As an atheist I have no objection whatsoever to religion, my wife and daughters are all Methodists. Now if people want to worship and talk to mythical figures from camp side stories which were told 2000 years ago then I really do not give a toss. But, if anyone from any sect or religion wishes harm on another person for drawing pictures or using a name then they forfeit their right to use up precious oxygen. Rant over 😐
