! This post hasn't been updated in over a year. A lot can change in a year including my opinion and the amount of naughty words I use. There's a good chance that there's something in what's written below that someone will find objectionable. That's fine, if I tried to please everybody all of the time then I'd be a Lib Dem (remember them?) and I'm certainly not one of those. The point is, I'm not the kind of person to try and alter history in case I said something in the past that someone can use against me in the future but just remember that the person I was then isn't the person I am now nor the person I'll be in a year's time.
Via Guido, the Guardian has noticed that Liebour has £13m of loans due this year despite being on the verge of bankruptcy.
They must be congratulated on their investigative journalism skills – after all, it only took them a week and a half to think of looking at the Electoral Commission website to see how much debt Liebour have got due for repayment this year. It was the first thing I did after laughing at their misfortune.
Oh well, they caught up eventually.

“Union leaders are taking seriously the possibility that party officials and members of its national executive committee could become liable, a point which was underlined by the decision of equity fund chairman David Pitt-Watson not to accept the post of general secretary.
“The GMB union’s executive decided to indemnify its two members on the national executive – GMB deputy general secretary and former Labour conference chairwoman Debbie Coulter and GMB president Mary Turner – to protect their homes and savings. […]
“Three major unions, UNISON, the Communications Workers Union and GMB, have tabled motions at their annual conferences next month calling for members to disaffiliate from Labour.”
