This is the only chance you’re going to get of getting independence, don’t fuck it up

! This post hasn't been updated in over a year. A lot can change in a year including my opinion and the amount of naughty words I use. There's a good chance that there's something in what's written below that someone will find objectionable. That's fine, if I tried to please everybody all of the time then I'd be a Lib Dem (remember them?) and I'm certainly not one of those. The point is, I'm not the kind of person to try and alter history in case I said something in the past that someone can use against me in the future but just remember that the person I was then isn't the person I am now nor the person I'll be in a year's time.

The Scots go to the polls tomorrow to vote on their independence and the polls are all too close to call it either way.

There’s just 2-4% between the yes and no camp in the polls with a 3% margin of error and 4-8% undecided. It’s going to come down to which side the don’t knows plump for tomorrow and which side is most motivated to go out and vote on the day. A distrust of the postal voting system rife with fraud will probably result in more yes voters preferring to vote in person tomorrow and physically casting your ballot in a polling station feels more real, like you’re actually taking part and not going through the motions. The yes camp have probably got the edge on the no camp when it comes to motivation.

Many promises have been made by Cameron, Clegg and Miliband to give more power and money to Scotland, including agreeing to Gordon Brown’s three demands for more money and influence for Scotland in the event of a no vote. The problem is, none of them have the power to deliver those promises. They can make personal pledges and even declare them to be party policy but there’s a general election in less than 8 months and MPs representing English constituencies are getting a little uneasy about how far the English can be pushed before it starts inflicting damage on them at the ballot box. One Tory MP has promised a “bloodbath” when the new powers Cameron has promised for Scotland are up for debate in the British parliament. More people than ever are demanding an English Parliament and expressing their disgust at the unfair treatment of England. There are votes in supporting equality for England and MPs in England will be doing their sums and wondering if they can afford not to support an English Parliament.

I would like to implore our neighbours north of the border to do the right thing and vote for independence. If you vote no you won’t get another chance for a couple of decades at least. When you find out that the promises that have been made are empty and you won’t be allowed to have your cake and eat it if you vote to stay in the union it’ll be too late to do anything about it. There’s no point staying in a loveless marriage for the sake of the children, it’s best to part on good terms before it turns completely sour. This is the only chance you’re going to get of getting independence, don’t fuck it up.

Are we finally to be rid of the bastards? I can hardly contain myself for excitement. I’ve wanted them gone since long before 1997 yet I suspect that they haven’t the balls, and that’s the way to get them out: ridicule their ‘manhood’ and, like the Jessies they are, they’ll vote as you wish to prove you wrong.

    Here’s to independence for England.

Let’s hope there are enough people who remember the shameful stitch-up of 1979 to remind younger voters of Westminster’s treachery.

It’s all a bit of a farse really, the referendum to decide everything, has decided nothing. The devolution treachery by the British parliament still remains and if anything has become ten times worse. Why cant the British idiots just realise the union is over without wasting time and money and pointless referendums?

As if the yes campaign in Scotland are going to back off for a generation when over half the populatiuon really want independance, but some of them just turned into surrender monkey’s on the day.

I have noticed how the socialists are really pushing for their soviets in England, to devide and rule. Dont even think about it tossers, shove your regions up your nether regions.

Perhaps the Glasgow region should declare independance along with the Dundee region, they both had a majority of “Yes”

Let’s hope that if the Labour Nazis try their phoney regions, they find that the voters they regard as ‘rightfully theirs’ turn to UKIP in their droves. When the Scottish parliament reconvened, the Nazis thought Holyrood would be their 1000-year Reich. That went well for you, didn’t it, you child-molesting scum? Be careful what you wish for.

Videos on YouTube apparently showing some serious and very obvious electoral fraud and various sources picking up on the story.

    Interesting.

I should have written more there and made clear that I do not think the videos show any fraud being perpetrated.

The one I saw shows that woman moving papers from the Yes pile to the No pile. There’s also a shot of piles of papers on the No desk, but when the camera zooms in on one paper, you can see clearly that somebody has voted Yes. Worth investigating by Plod, I would say.

The video shows a woman appearing to do that, if you think that all she can be doing is what you have been told she was doing.

The Communist idiot Stalin once had a saying “It’s not the people who cast the votes that decide things, it’s the people who count them”. There will have been loads of corruption involved, many activists think of their party as being above their country, and if they are doing the counting, they will chuck a yes as a no, to save the British parties.

I cant understand as to why the Polish and others out of Europe were given a vote, what right do they have to say on someone elses country?

It’s a bit like the BBC when they interviewed a Chinaman in Manchester declaring ho does’nt want to be governed from London. Hey arse hole we dont want to be governed from China, directly or indirectly.

I think the Scots should declare a cooling off period. Where they can change their minds as to how they voted within 40 days. That should keep the conversation going.
