81% of Sun readers want independence

! This post hasn't been updated in over a year. A lot can change in a year including my opinion and the amount of naughty words I use. There's a good chance that there's something in what's written below that someone will find objectionable. That's fine, if I tried to please everybody all of the time then I'd be a Lib Dem (remember them?) and I'm certainly not one of those. The point is, I'm not the kind of person to try and alter history in case I said something in the past that someone can use against me in the future but just remember that the person I was then isn't the person I am now nor the person I'll be in a year's time.

Yesterday’s phone-in poll amongst Sun readers resulted in 81% of people saying they wanted English independence from the rest of the UK.

Will the politicians still ignore our call for an English Parliament?

Two points i would like to pick up on one is the call for an English parliarment and the other a call for full English independence.

The first issue is very bizzar as you already have a full law making tax providing parliarment the only thing is you are trying to take the Welsh and the Scots down with you. I as a Welsh person would love a parliarment like the English purely for Wale, what a luxury.

The second point about independent England is form a party now you will get the support from the Welsh and the Scots in your venture, or is it a case as i suspect that your just playing childish mind games. They don’t like me so i’m showing that i don’t like them back.In honestly with a 81% backing for this call lobby your MP’s as they have to listen to the call of the English public. If England want independence as demonstrated by this poll and Wales and Scotland do just exactly what is the problem. We all become seperate nations and everyones happy the current situation obviuosly makes people un happy and is not the will of the people. Surely in a democracy the majority view wins out.

Oh where to begin? There is no English Parliament. The Parliament that you refer to as English is British – it’s no more English than it is Welsh. You can have a Parliament for Wales just like the English one by repealing the Government of Wales Act so you have no government. MPs have to take notice of us? In what particular brand of reality would this be? Did the Large Hadron Collider pull us into an alternate reality where that shower of shits in Westminster actually give a flying fuck what we want? The Campaign for an English Parliament have commissioned independent polls that have shown more support for English devolution than there was in Wales at the time of your referendum. It doesn’t suit the British agenda to treat England fairly so it won’t happen.
