Public Speaking

! This post hasn't been updated in over a year. A lot can change in a year including my opinion and the amount of naughty words I use. There's a good chance that there's something in what's written below that someone will find objectionable. That's fine, if I tried to please everybody all of the time then I'd be a Lib Dem (remember them?) and I'm certainly not one of those. The point is, I'm not the kind of person to try and alter history in case I said something in the past that someone can use against me in the future but just remember that the person I was then isn't the person I am now nor the person I'll be in a year's time.

I’m giving a talk on the CEP tomorrow at a public meeting in Telford.

I’m standing in the local election in May and the meeting has been organised by the local UKIP association for their candidates, of which I am one (yes, I know they don’t support an English Parliament but neither do any of the other parties except EDP).  Also in attendence will be the UKIP MEP for the West Midlands, Mike Nattrass, and the guy who started the petition against road pricing.

If anyone happens to be in the area tomorrow night, feel free to pop along to the Holiday Inn at 7pm.

    Good luck,

UKIP do support one version of an English parliament which is dual mandate MP’s which to be fair to them is what they support for the other countries of the UKas well.

Which is better than the main parties and much moree fair

    Best of luck.

I live in Scotland, but I’m originally from Telford, so I take an interest in all things Shropshire.

    Cheers

I wasn’t there on account of a conflicting appointment, but I understand everyone in attendance was suitably impressed – Well done!

    How did your talk go?

If you have to do other talks, I have a great article on my website about presenting the same information to different audiences so they really understand what you are trying tosay. Check it out at http://www.executivespeaking.com.au.

I gives some great ideas on how to change your message slightly to get you point across.

    Cheers
