! This post hasn't been updated in over a year. A lot can change in a year including my opinion and the amount of naughty words I use. There's a good chance that there's something in what's written below that someone will find objectionable. That's fine, if I tried to please everybody all of the time then I'd be a Lib Dem (remember them?) and I'm certainly not one of those. The point is, I'm not the kind of person to try and alter history in case I said something in the past that someone can use against me in the future but just remember that the person I was then isn't the person I am now nor the person I'll be in a year's time.
It’s been 10 years since Princess Diana and the media has been giving it some coverage, although not as much as I expected.
I really wish they would let her rest in peace though … because I’m sick to death of hearing about how frigging great she was when, to be quite frank, she was nothing special at all.
All the fuss about Diana is mad. She was born into incredible privlage and wealth, married into even more wealth, then gave some of it away. Wow, big deal.
She did do alot of good things by giving them profile, but come on.
They hype is mad. She wasn’t THAT great a person.
It is mad. People are nuts.
Diana was a product of the pathetic times she lived in! She would never have acted the way she did if she wasn’t insecure. I feel that the world she lived in caused her troubles. Why was she insecure? She would not have been if the society she lived in was different.
It is all well and good saying well she was loaded; that doesn’t make someone happy. All it means is life is easier. Having wealth and privilege doesnt necessarily mean you’ll be happier. If anything, there are more hangers-on, liars, and two-faced wankers to deal with. Just look at what happened to Michael Jackson, Anna nicole smith, and Mike Tyson. None of their supposed friends dared tell them they were doing the wrong thing because they didnt want to get thrown off the gravy train. I doubt many people told Diana what she was doing wrong either.
Besides that, people who slag off the Royal family are often just out and out hypocrites! How come it isn’t okay for the Royal family to have out in the open family squabbles? As soon as they do they’re labelled the royal disfunctional family. If they keep their business quiet they are labelled aloof and snobby! They can’t win.
As far the dumb media bringing the Diana circus up again. well, that’s because a lot of them are bigot republicans! Gotta keep slagging off the royal family ah? Diana should be left in peace; not used as some political football. Imagine if it was your mother! And, I know she wasnt that great, but who is?
