McCann’s come home

! This post hasn't been updated in over a year. A lot can change in a year including my opinion and the amount of naughty words I use. There's a good chance that there's something in what's written below that someone will find objectionable. That's fine, if I tried to please everybody all of the time then I'd be a Lib Dem (remember them?) and I'm certainly not one of those. The point is, I'm not the kind of person to try and alter history in case I said something in the past that someone can use against me in the future but just remember that the person I was then isn't the person I am now nor the person I'll be in a year's time.

The McCann’s have come home now that they have both been named as official suspects in the disappearance of their daughter, Madeline.

That’s another thing to add to the list of suspicious activity.

It’s my understanding that this was unrelated to them being named as official suspects.

If we can still think of them as parents of a missing child, they might be a little pissed at the line of questioning being pursued by the police in Portugal…

By the way, is anyone else getting sick of the 24 news coverage of the story? I heard that there was a special news programme on ITV when the news of Ms McCann being officially named a suspect.

Would envy the rest of their lives for a King’s ransom. They know, and the rest of the world knows, that they left their children unattended whilst they went out for a meal. Although they do have questions to answer I feel they have a life sentence to look forward to. 24 hour news sometimes has to create stories to prevent itself from appearing bland, which of course it is.

I feel sorry for them as parents – I’m a parent as well – but they left their children alone and even if they had nothing to do with the disappearance they are still guilty of neglect. Like a couple of people said in the comments of my previous post on the McCanns, if they were scutters from a council estate or Kate McCann was a single mother rather than them being a white middle-class professional family they’d have had their twins taken off them.

I agree, very suspicious especially when they stated immediatly prior to being named as official suspects that they would never leave !
Have you noticed how the “British” are derisive of the Portugese police, whom I suspect are a darn sight more professional and thorough than the politically correct, inept cretins than run our police.
There is an air of “how dare those dirty dagos” about it.
It shows how easily the minds of gullible people can be manipulated on a mass scale.

It could be a set-up or the parents could’ve deliberately got rid of their lovely child and been conning everyone all along. Hmmm, I know which one I believe. IT’S A F*CKIN’ SET-UP AINT IT?
Can anyone come up with ONE valid reason why that poor little girl’s parents would deliberately get rid of her, but not the other kids? It really doesn’t make sense. Why would they do it? They wouldn’t!
And Sean, do you have any dealings with the Portugal police? So, how can you make any judgement about them then? “Darn sight more professional”? How do you know?
I think it has nothing to do with the mother being white (and middle class) either. I didn’t know you were a commie mate!
Something happened to that little girl, it’s that people should be concentrating on; not looking to blame someone. Like I said, why would the parents get rid of one kid but not the others? She was obviously taken by someone. Now the parents are being blamed because the old bill can’t prove who did it! The portuguese police are pathetic. If they have definite proof that the parents did it they should show it. And blood on a backseat of a car could quite easily have been planted there.

“Have you noticed how the “British” are derisive of the Portugese police” That might be because they don’t have a clue mate.
Has anyone actually come out and called anyone a dirty dago? So it’s all conjecture then innit mate?
I have to say that you sound like you’re just slagging the English off, i.e. when you made the dirty dago comment. Maybe, just maybe, the English have had it with continental eurolanders for a number of reasons mate. Such as the commie EU, the arrogant Sepp Blatter and the toffee-nosed EU president. I havent even mentioned them trying to force measurements and the stupid euro on us! Why should the English trust the continental wankers? I think it’s a set-up! What? The port plod can’t find out who did it then all of a sudden it’s the parents who did it! Do me a favour son!

Wow! Try some decaff mate. Although the missus points out to me the number of times the immediate family members are often prime suspects, even in this country, I do agree with you and I don’t think they did it. Perhaps the case would have been handled differently if the child had gone missing in this country but she was taken in Portugal, which is a different country with different policing methods. Who are we to criticize other countries and tell them that their police are crap, whether they are or not is up to them. BTW a friend of wifey has actually stayed in that complex and the restaurant a quite a distance away from the flats. I hope they find the little girl but only for her sake but I have no sympathy at all for the parents as the children should never have been left alone in the first place. If they have to sell their house as a consequence of this then perhaps they will take better care of the twins. It really pisses me off when people say “well we have all left our children alone at some time”, NO WE HAVEN’T. If they were such loving parents why were they happy to leave their very young children alone and unattended.

Believe it or not; I absolutely agree. Plus, I would add that the whole point of living is to pass on genes! We are but gene vessels.
Getting back to the point, why have children if you’re not going to protect them?
