Bill Bragg threatens to sue English Democrats

! This post hasn't been updated in over a year. A lot can change in a year including my opinion and the amount of naughty words I use. There's a good chance that there's something in what's written below that someone will find objectionable. That's fine, if I tried to please everybody all of the time then I'd be a Lib Dem (remember them?) and I'm certainly not one of those. The point is, I'm not the kind of person to try and alter history in case I said something in the past that someone can use against me in the future but just remember that the person I was then isn't the person I am now nor the person I'll be in a year's time.

The English Democrats have been spamming Facebook for months now, setting up groups for England and St Georges Day and then re-branding them as English Democrats supporters groups when they get a few members in a desperateyl pathetic attempt to look like they have some support.

Every group I was a member of that they hijacked I left a message on complaining, left and then reported to Facebook.  I had messages from Steve Uncles and Robin Tilbrook saying what they were doing was perfectly legitimate and that they intended to carry on.

But they took it too far – they didn’t just dupe ordinary Facebook users into putting their name down as supporters of the English Democrats, they set up Facebook groups claiming all sorts of famous people as supporters of their party.  I warned them that they would find themselves in a spot of bother over it but they didn’t listen.  You’d have thought that with a qualified solicitor as party leader they would have stayed away from this kind of fraud but evidently not.

According to this post on the British Democracy Forum, Bill Bragg’s office are threatening to sue the English Democrats unless the remove their fake support group from Facebook.

They can’t say they weren’t warned.  More on the English Democrats later, I’ve had a post brewing for a while now …

Jesus! It seems like there are more stooges in the woodpile. Anyone who slags off the EDP is doing English nationalism no favours and the enemies of the same a great service. Why are you spouting this? You could keep quiet. It must be because you want to give English nationalism a bad name huh Stooge?

  2. Steven Uncles (6 comments) says:

Readers of this blog, need to be aware, that Stuart Parr (Wonko) claims to be an English Nationalist – but acutally supports and stands for UKIP.

    UKIP – a British Party

    ============================================

Billy Bragg, has not contacted the English Democrats party as of 5pm today (16 June 2009)

M Anderson, the EDP and particularly Steve are doing English Nationalism no end of damage. Linking the EDP with a BNP splinter group was a genius idea and undoes all the good work the rest of us have been doing showing people that English nationalism is not racist. The English Democrats have brought the English cause into disrepute. I won’t keep quiet while the English Democrats are damaging the English nationalist cause. What are you going to do if I don’t? Will I get the same sort of threats Gareth has been getting? Letters sent to my house threatening me and my family? Threats of legal action?

Steve, readers of this blog already know that I’m an English nationalist that supports UKIP. It’s possible to be an English nationalist but not support the EDP, just the same as it’s possible to be a eurosceptic and not support UKIP.

Why should he ‘keep quiet’? The English Democrats are not the sum total of English Nationalism however much they may like to unilaterally make out that they are. Disagreeing with them does not mean you are not an English nationalist however much insulation to the opposite effect goes on. Why when the English Democrats pull weird shit that shoots themselves in the foot and makes English nationalism look bad should it be the responsibility of someone not to mention it rather than them not to do it? It’s the if you get burgled it’s your fault for leaving your TV in view not the burglers’ for being a thieving scumbag mentality.

God knows what the English Democrats are going to do if they start getting serious scrutiny from people with actual media influence who may be a damn sight less sympathetic to English Nationalism or even the party than Wonko. Something that is increasingly likely now they’ve had a Mayor elected.

Wonko’s bizarre attachment to UKIP aside…

Someone in the Eng Dems is definitely going all out to damage the English cause. I don’t do facebook but my Mrs does and she joined the EDP group as she like me supports the English cause.

Some of the messages being spammed out are very strange. Mail after mail to the point of spam. Most verging on the illiterate. They keep mentioning the BNP!

The Eng Dems should be concentrating on taking votes from Labour, the conservatives and the Lib dems not the minority BNP.

By constant referral to the BNP they not only tarnish the Eng Dems but by association the larger English cause.

But I suspect that someone in the Eng Dems knows that.

Either that or he is a fucking idiot.

There is a known MilInt tactic that says the best way to destroy your enemy is from within.

    I wonder ….

I count myself as an English Nationalist but at the recent elctions I voted UKIP.

I want an English Parliament but I also believe that it would be pointless and impossible if we were part of a European Superstate ruled by an unelected oligarchy appointed on the basis of cronyism. Even if the EU were democratic I would still be against it as membership seems to involve the loss of all those things that makes us culturally distinct such as weights and measures (the thin end of the wedge).

I want an English parliament but I know that the first step on that road requires us to disengage from a European Union that won’t even put our country on the map.

What Stuart fails to understand (despite Steve Uncles best efforts) is that anyone who is critical of the English Democrats is anti-English.

I’m amazed that anyone has difficulty with this statement. Shame on you Stuart, you anglophobic racist.

Has he still not contacted the EDP Mr Uncles?

English nationalism refers to a nationalist political stance applied to England, and only England. It does not apply to the UK. It promotes England, not the UK, as a focus for patriotic sentiment and national identity. In addition to this, it denotes an English political movement that seeks self-government for England.
I was a member of the UKIP; but I soon realised that it is nothing more than an invention. An invention to pacify the English people. The UKIP does nothing to attack the euroland empire. What does it do? Tell me. It’s people waffle a lot; what else do they do? The UKIP has websites that show the facts about the EUROlanders; but what else do they do?

    June 8, 2009
“With all the English, Welsh and Scottish results in, the Tories had polled 27.7 per cent, [whilst the] UKIP came second with 16.5 per cent…”

Isn’t this enough of a result to have UKIP people shouting from the rooftops? So what aren’t they? I think the UKIP is an invention.

A MORI opinion poll commissioned jointly by the English Democrats and the Campaign for an English Parliament under the English Constitutional Convention Banner indicated that support for the creation of an English Parliament with the same powers as the existing Scottish Parliament had risen, with 41% of those questioned favouring such a move.

In the same month an ICM Omnibus poll commissioned by the Progressive Partnership (a Scottish research organisation) showed that support for full English Independence had reached 31% of those questioned.

In November 2006, another ICM poll commissioned by the Sunday Telegraph, showed that support for an English Parliament had reached 68% and support for full English Independence had reached 48% of those questioned.

This was 2006 2007 so how come we STILL do not have English self determination?

Did Bragg contact you yet? Yeah, so this is all a made up load of bollocks then huh? Who knows who made thoswe facebook profiles? It could have been anyone. I would say this is a pretty sloppy attempt at slandering the EDP…and ANYONE who votes for the EDP AND, ANYONE WHO IS THINKING OF VOTING FOR THEM OR, BECOMING A MEMBER.
You people must be deparate if this is all you can muster!

I can’t believe you are such a self-hating liberal communist traitor. How dare you suggest that by not supporting the EDP you still love the country that gave you so much (England, the UK in no way fought in wars, just the English).

My Country!* My Empire!** My Leader!

    *England
    **the English Empire

M Anderson, the man with the nordic name. I can only assume you are an angry, angry man who has taken the usual position of angry, angry men with a below average IQ of ardent, right wing, rampant, xenophobic nationalist. Well done, your comment has shown the EDP to be exactly what it is: stupid.

ps, my anti spam phrase was ‘durka durka’, great stuff. I will now do the speacial signal.

Oh so you’re concerned with my nordic name idiot? Why would that be? Aint got nuffink to do with the fact that you always on the look out for “racists” has it? **watch out there’s one hiding in the cupboard right now** It is people like you who are obsessed with race. I bet you see everything from the perspective of colour/ethnicity. I don’t care that your last name is African in origin. So, who is the real racist? You are!

Let me get this straight? According to you, I am the one with “a below average IQ” Hmmm? I note that YOU typed “I can only assume…”. Assuming isn’t very bright mr intelligent. Assuming anything is the sign of “a below average IQ” methinks. Ha! ha! You are so easy to thrash debate wise.
Well anyway, I will presume that you’re assuming I am an English Democrat party member to. I am not an English Democrat party member. So just like that, bang goes YOUR ASSUMPTION!
Like I have TRIED to explain to you before if you look for things (and do not give up ’til you find something and scream, “Aha! I knew it. I was right all along!”) you will certainly find things to verify your bigoted, low-brow thought processes.
Secondly, you do not seem to understand that this works both ways. English people reading what you’re typing will be convinced that the only way they can help themselves is to join the party you’re attacking. So in actual fact you’re most probably helping the cause of English nationalism.

What is boateng on about? I am sure his “doctor” would be able to tell you. Him and his mate Steven sharkski have a stupid website. I was on it last week. They hate the English and England.

    wonk:
“I won’t keep quiet while the English Democrats are damaging the English nationalist cause. What are you going to do if I don’t? Will I get the same sort of threats Gareth has been getting? Letters sent to my house threatening me and my family? Threats of legal action?”

So, you won’t keep quiet? You just got to have your say huh? By highlighting all this slander you’re doing a disservice are you not?

“What are you going to do if I don’t [keep quiet?]” Oh letters! Threats of legal action? Wowee! That is so scarey. No it isn’t! Don’t be silly. Why shouldn’t they stand up to you? Are you saying they do not have a right to?
Why do you complain about someone making a joke (as though it were a crime punishable by death) and then complain when people stand up to you? You sound hypocritical to me. Like I can say what I want about them, but they can’t say what they want about me. It is like this Boatong bloke. He has slagged me off; so what? Unless he turns up on my doorstep or threatens me in some other more serious way he can slag me off and disagree with me. I believe in freedom of speech and freedom of expression you see. The fact that he lies like there’s no tomorrow is up to him. He is free to express his lies and bigoted shite. By stating that a person shouldn’t tell a joke BECAUSE YOU DO NOT APPROVE is pigshite indeed! No! It is fascism in action.
