British government stealing English money to redistribute to Scots and Welsh

! This post hasn't been updated in over a year. A lot can change in a year including my opinion and the amount of naughty words I use. There's a good chance that there's something in what's written below that someone will find objectionable. That's fine, if I tried to please everybody all of the time then I'd be a Lib Dem (remember them?) and I'm certainly not one of those. The point is, I'm not the kind of person to try and alter history in case I said something in the past that someone can use against me in the future but just remember that the person I was then isn't the person I am now nor the person I'll be in a year's time.

The British government is planning to steal money out of “dormant” bank accounts in England to fund the Big Society Bank which will then distribute funds throughout the whole of the UK.

If you’re not sitting at your keyboard with a confused look on your face saying “what the fuck?” then read that first paragraph again.

English bank accounts are being emptied by the British government to fund “charity” not only in England but in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland even though their money isn’t being stolen and even though the “Big Society” only applies to England.

Frances Maud, the British Cabinet Office minister responsible for the legalised theft of English money, has called for the Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish governments to put money they intend to steal from bank accounts in their own countries into the British English Big Society Bank but the Scots and Welsh have already said they’re going to spend it their own way in their own countries.  So the Scots and Welsh (and probably the Northern Irish as well) will be getting a share of English money stolen from English bank accounts by the British government as well as the proceeds of the legalised theft of money from Scottish and Welsh bank accounts.

This is fucking lunacy.

The money coming from dormant accounts will be for England only according to Maude:

Sorry revikevin, but after reading that statement from Maude, I see it is a typical example of weasel words that politicians use.

“The bank’s remit will be UK-wide. The money put in by the banks will be for UK purposes, but the money coming into the big society bank in due course from dormant bank accounts will be for England only, unless the devolved Administrations decide to put their share of that money into the big society bank, which I hope they will be encouraged to do.”

If E’s money is put in the Bank (say 80%) along with S’s money (say 8%), W’s money (say 8%), and NI’s money (say4%), then they can all take some money out. And do you think it will be proportional to their input? No, nor do I. It will go to the areas “of greatest need” and we know who will decide that and where that will be.

If the other countries do steal money from their dormant accounts will we have to make sure that any money thet get out of the bank will be in proportion to what they put in.

Parliament has not been fair to England for a long time.

The fact that the phrase for England only has only been mentioned 20 times since 1958 in the House of Commons.

At a rough guess, most of the Banks have their head offices in England, so they are English?

I’m pretty sure we dont own any banks in Scotland, anymore, do we?

Au contraire axel, RBS is headquartered in Scotland and Lloyds moved theirs to Scotland when they merged with HBOS.
